Membership

Galapagos Conservation Trust is a non-profit organization, and member support is requisite to continuing research and conservation of the islands. Membership includes subscription to the two newsletters, and personal invitations to events. Extra postage is required for mail which must be delivered outside of the UK. There are many organizations located in other countries, which directly support the GCT as well.

Events

On Wednesday, September 15th, 2010 the Royal Geographical Society will host the thirteenth annual 'Galapagos Day' event from 6pm to 10pm at 1 Kensington Gore, London, UK, 2W7 2AR. This event is for members, experts, supporters and enthusiasts. It begins with a glass of wine and casual conversation between staff, experts, and guests. At 7pm, a series of guest speakers will take the stage. Confirmed lecturer, and Charles Darwin Foundation's executive director, Dr Gabriel Lopez will provide firsthand updates on the islands. Tickets can be purchased online. Gifts benefiting the GCT are also for sale both online and at the event.
