Otavalo Market Tour
The Otavalo Market day tour begins with a drive through Awakening Valley in Calderón, with its dough-bread figures, and Cayambe, which offers numerous delicious local food specialties.
The trip to Otavalo passes by some of the most attractive artisan centers and Andean landscapes in Ecuador.
When you arrive in Otavalo's famous indigenous market, you can begin bargaining for hand-knitted wool sweaters, colorful tapestries, woodcarvings, silver jewelry, native paintings, and woolen and straw hats.
Lunch will be served at a traditional Ecuadorian hacienda or country inn.
After a full day of bargaining, you will be able to enjoy the amazing and diverse Andean landscape on the drive back to Quito.
