Quito Tour
Quito, Ecuador's capital, is a bubbling and noisy city, embedded in an Andean valley.
Quito, inscribed as a World Heritage Site in 1978 by UNESCO, is a beautiful city to visit. Stay at least a few days in this magnificent city and marvel at it's impressive colonial old town with an abundance of churches, monasteries, museums and charming little restaurants.
While in Quito, take the chance and visit the nearby Equator Line where you have the unique possibility to stand on both hemispheres at the same time.
About a 30 minute drive north lies the invisible line called the Equator, and also the famous monument, Mitad del Mundo, where you can have one foot on either hemisphere.
