Overview:

A beautiful example of Republican architecture, “Mansión Alcazar” was completely restored during 2000 and 2001 in order to satisfy the most discerning traveler. The hotel is located in the heart of the city of Cuenca, within walking distance from banks, art shops, galleries, churches and the main plaza.

Cuenca was selected as one of the few World Cultural Heritage Cities by UNESCO in 1999 as a result of community efforts to restore its splendid historical beauty. Only the finest building materials were used during the restoration process of Mansión Alcazar in order to successfully replicate its original style. Exquisite interior design, carefully chosen furniture, art and wonderful crystal chandeliers recreate the "Old Days of Colonial Living" in one of the most beautiful cities in Ecuador.

Personalized service is not only delivered upon arrival, but also in the intimate bar area or lounge, where one can relax after a day of sightseeing and shopping and enjoy a drink before being treated to the restaurant’s selection of fine food. Your stay is guaranteed to be a memorable and unforgettable experience.
