Overview:

Hacienda Hato Verde is found in the Cotopaxi province, approximately an hours drive south of Quito along the Latacunga highway. It is a few kilometers away from the main entrance to the Cotopaxi National Park. Hato Verde is part of an old cattle ranch, whose main house is 120 years old. It has been remodeled to preserve its stone materials and rustic colonial style. In the surrounding area you will find the markets of Saquisilí, Latacunga, Pujilí and Ambato, as well as the picturesque lakes of Yambo, Anteojos and Quilotoa.
