Introduction:
Designed and built in California in 1971 with comfort in mind, Cachalote (meaning "sperm whale" in Spanish) is a steel-hulled ketch-rigged motor sailor. Rebuilt and refurbished in 2002, the new Cachalote provides more space. With standard safety equipment and ample deck space, the attractive ivory Cachalote is perfect for a tour of the Enchanted Isles. She is also known for the excellent service of her crew, the tasty food, and knowledgeable naturalist guides. Relax on one of the three ample wooden decks and cruise the archipelago with style!

Each teakwood cabin is illuminated by the light of its two porthole windows. Three times a day its crew serves delicious cuisine in the Victorian-style dining galley.
