Kapawi Lodge

Kapawi is the world´s premier luxury ecological Amazon Rainforest lodge. This solar energy powered eco-lodge works with the Achuar indigenous community to provide an alternative to the traditional rainforest destruction created by enterprises in the Amazon Rainforest.

The lodge, located on the edge of the Kapawi Lagoon, is built on stilts in order to minimize the impact caused to the surrounding vegetation. Visitors can choose from a variety of activities such as hiking, camping, visits to the local community, bird watching, and canoeing through the endless winding rivers of the Amazon Rainforest.
