Hacienda La Carriona rests in the beautiful Valley of Los Chillos just minutes from Quito and the protected highland forest of Pasochoa. Within La Carriona's thick adobe walls, amidst its colonial architecture, courtyards and gardens, it is easy to forget that Quito is just a half-hour away. The 200-year-old hacienda is at once historic and modern. Though the decor remains as it did in the 1800's, the Hacienda has all the amenities of new millenium. La Carriona Inn is a gorgeous two-hundred-years old Spanish style house surrounded by stone patios with three acres of gardens. It has 28 lovely rooms, all with different decoration and antique furniture bought from old families all over the country. Each little item you find in the house has it's own history.
