Mancora Hotels
The surf is sweet in Máncora, and its growing reputation as a surfer’s paradise has transformed this once small fishing village into a hopping resort town. During the summer, from late December to March, the city’s characteristic white sand beaches swell with surfers and sand-bunnies alike. Due to its popularity (or more precisely, the popularity of its beaches) the town boasts a number of budget hotels.
In contrast to Máncora and Las Pocitas, the accommodation here is more spread out and consists mainly of quiet bungalows close to the beach. The landscape here is more open than further north, giving travelers plenty of space to spread a beach towel and sprawl out for a nap. Large groups and families may want to look into renting out one of the houses in the area.
