The Hotel Silberstein is located on Santa Cruz Island in the center of Puerto Ayora. Formerly known as the 'Residencial Angermeyer', it was opened by a German family who came to the islands at the beginning of the century.

This hotel serves not only as a place to stay, but also as an information center for tourists.

The new German owners have kept the same traditions, and continue to offer a comfortable and welcoming environment along with high quality, modern services. It is an excellent mid-priced hotel with lovely gardens and a picturesque pool, and also a well-known alternative to cruises.

Hotel Silberstein offers you 24 beautiful rooms, surrounded by a magnificent subtropical garden with a small pool. Furthermore the hotel provides a coffee bar and a restaurant as well as laundry service.

We are one of the first hotels on the Galápagos Islands with an own dive center in cooperation with the well-known diving agency Subaqua. We will show you a wonderful underwater world that you won't find anywhere else in the world.

Hotel Silberstein has its own restaurant where we serve you typical Ecuadorian as well as international food. Traditional Ceviche, French Filet Mignon or any other of our delicious dishes, make your choice and enjoy it! Sit in our outdoor cafe next to the beautiful, covered restaurant in the shade of trees. It is not only open for our guests.
