Machu Picchu - PeruPeru Extension Tours

Lima, Cusco, Urubamba & Machu Picchu (6d/5n)

Program duration:
6 days / 5 nights

Categories: Deluxe, first class & Superior

Introduction

One of the biggest drawing points to the city of Lima is the fact that it is home to some of Peru's best museums, notably the Museo de Oro del Peru. Other highlights include colonial architecture at Iglesia de San Francisco, pre-Inca pyramids at Pachacamac, and catacombs in Central Lima.

As well as being a gateway to nearby attractions like Machu Picchu and the Inca Trail, Cusco offers travelers a host of culturally rich museums, cathedrals, and markets that make this city an excellent addition to any itinerary.

This tour explores the Koricancha Temple (Temple of the Sun) and the ruins including the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, the Inca bath of Tambomachay, the labyrinth of Puca Pucara and the amphitheatre of Kenko. Additionally, this tour will take you through Aguas Calientes and the Lost City, giving you the chance to explore Machu Picchu. Finally, we will take you to the Sacred Valley of the Incas and end with a visit to Ollantaytambo.
