Jim is British and works with the team in Quito to make sure all those things behind the scenes operate smoothly so that your experience in Galapagos is a memorable one. Jim has extensive international business experience through his prior employments with General Motors and Ernst & Young.

María Antonieta studied Tourist Administration and has more than fifteen years of experience in the industry. Most of her employment has been related to the sales and operation of tourist packages in Ecuador, but she is especially well-versed regarding the Galapagos Islands. She has worked for several travel agencies and operators. She speaks fluent English and Spanish; additionally, she communicates at a high level in German.

Maria Elena studied Biology at the Pontifical Catholic University in Quito and fell in love with tourism when she started working as a Naturalist Tour Guide in Ecuador's Amazon Basin. Working as a tour guide for more than 18 years, she has extensive experience and knowledge of Ecuador and has been involved with the sales and operations of Galapagos luxury cruises since 2000. She speaks fluent English, French and Spanish and can communicate in both German and Italian.

Lilian studied at the Equinox University of Technology in Quito and graduated with a degree in Tourism Administration and Management. She has six years of experience working in the Incoming Tourism department. She thoroughly enjoys her profession, works with a lot of love, and is very happy to help organize the tours and services that guests enjoy while exploring Ecuador.

Lorena has been working in tourism for approximately four years. She began working in the Operations Department for mainland Ecuador and Galapagos tours. Later, she started working in sales for international travel agencies from England, Sweden, Denmark and Germany.

Daniela studied at the University of Tourism Specialties and got her degree as a National Tourist Guide. She joined to the GalapagosIslands.com´s family in October, 2009, and is now working in the Sales department.

Grace studied Tourism Administration and has been in the travel industry for more than 12 years. She has worked at airports and hotels, but her real passion is sales. Grace has worked with international travel agencies and tour operators from England, Australia, Germany, France, USA and is now assisting direct passengers from all over the world. She has just joined the GalapagosIslands.com family in 2011.

Marcia has been working in the tourism industry since 1998. Although her studies are in Literature, she discovered that her passion is in tourism sales. Marcia has worked with Galapagos operators managing hotels, yachts and diving sales, and has lived in Puerto Ayora. She is currently finishing her studies to become a National Tourist Guide. She joined Galapagosislands.com in May 2011.

Cristina works in our Home Sales Department, and she is glad to assist you in your travel needs and interests. She has been working in tourism for nearly eight years, and she is a Business Technician who speaks English German, and Spanish.

Olga Salazar has a degree in tourism from Equinox University of Technology in Quito and has over twenty years of experience in the field. She has worked as a tour leader in Ecuador and other countries of South America. She has collaborated with several travel agencies in the areas of administration, operations and sales. She speaks fluent Spanish and communicates at a high level in both German and English.

Jessica Saltos is a Galapagos Islands native and has been working in the tourism industry for 21 years. She holds a degree as a Tourist Management Engineer and has experience specializing in tours to Galapagos. She works with our company in the home sales department where her vast knowledge of Galapagos and Ecuador allows her to best assist clients.

Andrea has been woking on sales for three years. Her specialization is the ecotourism. She has being in charge of French, Dutch and israelian market. She's also a tour guide who speaks four languages. French, Italian, English and Spanish.

Salome studied Tourism Operations at the San Francisco University of Quito.  Previously, she worked in the Tourism and Environmental Education Departments at an ecological foundation. She has been working in sales and operations since 2007. She speaks fluent English and Spanish.

Magus Cuisana has a degree in Tourism Administration with a minor in Ecotourism from Quito's Catholic University. She has been working in the Ecuadorian tourism industry for more than 11 years coordinating and selling programs for the international market. She also worked as a guide in a private reserve and speaks Spanish and English.

Pablo has been working for 8 years in the tourism industry. He earned his degree as a National Tourist Guide and is very knowledgable about Ecuador and its tourist offerings. His specialty is in tailoring trips to specific needs and interests of customers.

Paola studied Ecotourism, which was a great opportunity to travel around Ecuador, learning about different cultures and natural areas of the country. This inspired her to share more about Ecuador with those interested in visiting. Paola has worked with many important local tour operators, both in the Sales and Operations Department.

Veronica works in our Home Sales Department and has been working in tourism for almost nine years. She has a degree as an Engineer in Tourist Business Administration from the Equinox University of Technology in Quito and she is also a certified National Guide in Ecuador. Veronica has been part of our company since May 2009 and speaks both English and Spanish and understands French.

Angie is in charge of the Galapagos Land Operations section. She studied Ecotourism at the Catholic University in Quito, a program that allowed her to travel all over Ecuador and gain experience in hotel management. Her passion for travelling has taken her all over the world including the U.S. and the Middle East and she shares this enthusiasm with clients. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

Anita works in the Operations and Sales Department of GalapagosIslands.com, assisting with any needs that the passengers or sales team may have. She often works with cruise and hotel reservations.

Diana studied Historic and Cultural Tourism in Central University. She has been working for our company since April for 2011. She works in the Sales Assistance Department finding availability, hotel reservations, and confirmation of services. Diana is studying English and Portuguese in order to give the best assistance possible.

Cinthya studied at the University of Tourism Specialties and got her degree as a Tourism Management Engineer. She has had the opportunity to travel throughout Ecuador, and has thorough knowledge regarding the many tourist attractions. She joined the GalapagosIslands.com family in January 2010 and started working with the Sales Department as Sales Assistant.

Daniela studied Tourist Administration and has worked in the tourist industry for nearly twelve years. She has extensive experience arranging tours throughout Ecuador. She speaks English, Spanish and Italian.

Daniela studied Tourism Management at the University of Touristic Studies in Quito, Ecuador. She is working for GalapagosIslands.com in the Operations Department and is in charge of tour operations. Her responsibilities include issuing Transit Control Cards, providing voucher services for tourists, and assistance with airline tickets. She speaks four languages: English, German, Spanish and a little French.

Geovanna Padilla holds an engineering degree in Hotel and Tourism Companies Management from the University of Technology America. She has experience in project design in the field of tourism. She works for us as assistant to the Galapagos Land Department and is responsible for verifying the availability of services required by the various tours.

Cristina Valencia works in the Operations Department.

Washington is the person who actually purchases tickets and ensures that all the proper documents are in order.

José Egas is in the Operations department.

Andres holds a degree in Computer Engineering, which he obtained in Toronto, Canada. Andres is the WebMaster for Galapagos Islands.com. He makes sure the sites has good SEO, Web Development, information and more. He speaks English and Spanish fluently.

Rene studied Graphic Design at the Metropolitan University and has extensive knowledge of multimedia, programming and web development. He currently works in the marketing department in charge of corporate image and advertising. He joined our team in June 2010.

Maria Belen has been working for Galapagos Travel Center for two years. She earned her degree in Tourist Administration at the University of Tourism Specialties. She has worked for the sales and operation departments but currently works on coordinating the activities of the Marketing Team. She speaks English.

Elisa works as Head of Business Development for Galapagos Travel Center. Her activities in the company include developing international marketing stratgies, promoting the brand, and enhancing B2B client relationships. Elisa received her M.B.A. from the Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma.

Danny Herdoiza is in charge of Corporate Image.

Edison is studying Systems Engineering at the University of Technology America. He has skills in graphic design, web design, photography, video & audio production and editing. He joined our team in December 2011. He works at Galapagos Islands.com in web development. He is also responsible for communication support equipment used by sales personnel, and for the preventive and corrective maintenance of computers.

Jorge studied Computer Engineering at the ESPE University. He is in charge of IT and ensures the smooth functioning of our computer systems. He also works to update and revise our web pages in order to provide our customers the best information available. He speaks a fluent English as well as some French and is always willing and glad to help with technical needs.

Gabriela majored in Tourism Administration and Natural Area Conservation at the Equinox University of Technology. She currently works as a Marketing Assistant and is in charge of researching, creating, and publishing the best promotions available, so customers can receive the best deals for their Galapagos adventure.

Vinicio holds a Commercial Engineering degree and has worked for 20 years in Administrative and Financial Accounting as Chief Accountant, assisting managers of each company. He specializes in IATA Travel Agencies, GPS Tourism Operators, and LAND Services. Vinicio started working for Galapagos Travel Center in May 2011. His responsibility is to organize Financial Accounting as well as coordinating the flow of processes in order to assist the different areas of the organization.

Marcia Cujilema graduated from Andres Bello High School and is currently studying Foreign Commerce at the Autonomous University of Quito. She has been working with our company since July of 2011 in the Accounting Department. Her responsibilities include paying suppliers in Galapagos.

Denisse has worked for Galapagos Travel Center for one year. Her main responsibility is to coordinate outgoing payments. She is currently studying Marketing Technology and works in the Accounting Department.

Mayra works in as a department assistant for the finance team. She has studied at the Central University of Ecuador and she specializes in Accounting and Auditing.

Andrea Salas works in the finance department.

Ruben is studying accounting and auditing at the International University of Ecuador. He is in charge of revenue control and has been working with the company since October of 2009.

Lorena Andrade obtained her high school diploma from Simon Bolivar School. She has worked as accounting assistants en other companies and joined our team in August of 2011. She is our system technician and Works in the Accounting Department.

Belen Pastrano has been working for Galapagos Travel Center in the Accounting Department since 2009. One of her main functions is uploading costs of tours into the system. She is currently studying Business Administration at the Polytechnic University of Salesiana.

Teresa is an accounting technologist. She studied in the Dillon Superior Institute and joined Galapagos Travel Center in May of 2011. Her main function is managing payments to suppliers and operators, processes that represent Galapagos tour logistics.

Paúl is in charge of the Human Resources department.

Diego has been working for Galapagos Travel Center since June 2010 and is studying Mechanical Engineering. As our Handyman, Diego helps in the Galapagos Operations Department, taking care of purchases, and aiding with the installations and maintenance of computers. With a big smile, he is always ready and willing to help.

Joining our team in August 2010, Nelly Navas is our English teacher. She studied Applied Linguistics in English and has a master's degree in Education Management. Nelly helps personnel improve their English to enhance customer service.

Mary has been working for Galapagos Travel Center since january 2010. She is in charge of providing the daily morning snack and keeping our offices clean and shining.
