On November 3rd, Ecuador’s Cruise Train across the Andes, received the Wider World Project award, presented by the British Guild of Travel. It comes few months after Lonely Planet publishers consider the cruise as one of the best rail journeys all over the world.

The trip on the Ecuadorian cruise train represents one of the best ways to get in contact with three of the country’s geographical wonders (the mountains, the subtropical forest and the coast. It takes 4 days and 3 nights and integrates adventure, sightseeing, live culture and archeology observation.

The journey includes 4 segments, each one of them in the different train, and includes the world famous section of track known as Nariz del Diablo (Devil’s Nose) which heads south of Riobamba from Alausi to Sibambe.
