Awards, recognitions and an updated digital travel requirement are the highlights these first weeks of the year. Let\u2019s get to it!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Digital Submission for the Biosafety Declaration Form<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Galapagos Biosafety and Quarantine Control Agency requires all visitors to complete a Biosafety Declaration Form before arriving in the Galapagos. This process was previously completed using a paper form, but a<strong>s of this year, the form must be submitted online only.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Important:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It is strongly recommended to complete it the night before your Galapagos flight, although you can submit it up to two days before your arrival in Galapagos.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After submission, you will receive a code via email.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The confirmation code must be shown at the airport in Quito or Guayaquil before you check-in at the airline counter and again upon arrival in the Islands.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This form helps prevent the introduction of invasive species and protects the Galapagos\u2019 ecosystem.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.galapagosislands.com\/travel\/tips\/travel-regulations.html\">Learn more about travel procedures and requirements<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>__<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" src=\"https:\/\/www.galapagosislands.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/islas-galapagos.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15342\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Galapagos National Park Receives a Conservation Award&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At&nbsp; the end of December 2025, Regenerative Travel presented its Conservation of the Year award to the Galapagos National Park for its work in responsible tourism management within an ecologically significant destination.
