Mosquera Islet

A small sandy islet lying between Baltra and North Seymour Island, Mosquera offers up a wealth of underwater life for the diver. From nudibranchs to hammerheads, and manta rays to eagle rays, this site is always accompanied by playful sea lions.


Highlights: Groups of white tips often clustered together in the small caves, hammerheads, various kinds of rays, schools of grunts, snappers, and other fish
Experience: Depending on daily currents and surges. Minimum Open Water and 15 dives recommended.
Depth: 6 – 30 M (20-90 feet)
