Our trip for my bday was spectacular!!!
We all returned on Sunday…extremely tired but well worth it….
We enjoyed Lima…Cusco was charming…Sacred Valley was just that..sacred…..
We definitely improved the Peruvian economy as we all did quite a bit of shopping…
Thank Goodness,I bought altitude pills..I still got lightheaded and dizzy.
One thing I wanted to tell you..
Please tell people when they get on the train from Cusco to Aqua Caliente,they need to bring a carry -on ..and duffel …
Our luggage stayed at the hotel in Cusco…
One person only had a duffel with all her overnight clothes and personal belongings… we went from the train to Machu Picchu..did not go to hotel until end of day..
A lot to carry to Machu Picchu..
Machu Picchu was stunning…
Our favorite guides were Yamil and Fernando Herrero- All the hotels were outstanding!!!
Sol Y Luna was exquisite…
Onto the Galapagos…the Galaxy Sirius was 10 stars….
The crew was fabulous…food was superb….
Accommodations….great…
Our guide, Carlos Lopez, was off the charts…..
This was truly unforgettable….
